Mr. Robie was vice president of ARC, with ARC from 1994 to 2014. He has a Master of Architecture degree from the University of New Mexico. He served as an architectural group lead, facilities planner, condition evaluator, estimator, and architectural programmer. He worked closely with firm president John Petronis on master planning, programming and facilities evaluation projects, and managed planning projects for a variety of clients including local, state and federal government entities and particularly school districts, both in-state and nationally.


Prior to joining ARC, Mr. Robie was a staff architect for the Albuquerque Public School district, one the largest in the U.S., and worked closely with ARC as the representative evaluator on the first complete survey of APS' school facilities. After joining ARC, Mr. Robie completed numerous projects for public school districts, institutions of higher education, Bureau of Indian Affairs schools and federal agencies, covering over 22 million square feet of facility evaluation. He assisted the New Mexico Public School Finance Authority in the development of facility planning standards and guidelines for New Mexico school district maintenance plans. In addition to education work, Mr. Robie participated in projects for clients such as Sandia National Laboratories, the former U.S.A. Immigration Service and the National Park Service.
