Robert Robie, R.A.

Vice President, Architect


Mr. Robie is vice president of ARC with a master of architecture degree from the University of New Mexico. He has been with ARC since 1994. He serves as an architectural group lead, facilities planner, condition evaluator, estimator, and architectural programmer. He has worked closely with firm president John Petronis on master planning, programming and facilities evaluation projects, and has managed planning projects for a variety of clients including local, state and federal government entities and school districts both in-state and nationally.

Prior to joining ARC, Mr. Robie was a staff architect for the large Albuquerque Public School district, and worked closely with ARC as the representative evaluator on the first complete survey of APS’ school facilities. Since joining ARC, Mr. Robie has completed numerous projects for public school districts, institutions of higher education, Bureau of Indian Affairs schools and federal agencies, covering over 20 million square feet of facility evaluation. He assisted the New Mexico Public School Finance Authority in the development of facility planning standards and guidelines for New Mexico school district maintenance plans. In addition to education work, Mr. Robie has participated in projects for clients such as Sandia National Laboratories, the former U.S.A. Immigration Service and the National Park Service.
