William Winkler, AIA, NCARB

Architect


Mr. Winkler is a registered architect in New Mexico and holds a professional degree in architecture from the University of New Mexico. He has been with ARC since 1994 and has over 30 years of experience in facilities master planning, programming, design, contract document production, and construction contract administration. His experience as project manager and project architect has involved a wide variety of building types in both the public and private sectors, including public schools, government institutions, health care facilities, hospitality and multifamily developments, military installations and industrial facilities.

Mr. Winkler works closely with John Petronis on ARC’s planning projects and has served as project manager for numerous educational facility master planning projects, site development plans, site capacity and selection studies and accessibility studies. Clients include numerous school districts and institutions of higher education throughout New Mexico. He has also participated in ARC's facilities master plans for local, county and state governments. During his tenure, he has evaluated approximately 22.5 million square feet of facilities.

Mr. Winkler assisted John Petronis in the development of the New Mexico Public Schools Facilities Authority’s statewide facility planning standards and guidelines for facilities master plans to be used by state school districts.
