Susan Freed

Architect


Ms. Freed has a master of architecture degree from the University of New Mexico and a bachelor of arts in, human ecology from the College of the Atlantic. She is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional. Ms. Freed has been with ARC since 2005 and has 25 years of experience in architecture and planning.

Ms. Freed serves as project manager and assistant project manager on master planning and programming projects for government and educational facilities, often working closely with firm president, John Petronis. As a LEED-accredited professional, she incorporates sustainability planning into all college master planning projects.

Previously, she provided design services for the New Mexico MainStreet Program, a program to restore economic vitality to downtown areas. She also was sole proprietor of an architectural consulting company, working on a variety of large and small-scale public and private projects.
