Ms. Biel is a firm principal, certified planner and marketing director at ARC. She has a bachelor of arts degree (summa cum laude) in political science from the University of New Mexico. She has been with the firm since 1987 and has a total of 25 years of planning experience.
Ms. Biel has participated in community and institutional planning at the local, regional, tribal, and national levels. She manages numerous planning studies at ARC, and has expertise in the planning of community, recreational, and cultural facilities.
Clients include the city of Albuquerque, communities throughout New Mexico, and Navajo Nation chapters, which benefited from her specific expertise in their land use planning. She has provided project management, planning, enrollment projections, and facility analysis for a variety of educational facilities projects. She has also facilitated public hearings and meetings for many projects.
She volunteers for bond issue and mill levy campaigns for educational facilities and is a long-time board member for El Camino Real International Heritage Center Foundation in Socorro County.
